Escaping with Elon

Gameplay

Fight your way through to twitter bots to get a high score and make your way to space! This game was created for the SA GameJam 2022. The theme was

"So much easier than in real life".

Our interpretation was that it's so much easier to get to space than to manage twitter as the new CEO.

Fancy Shaders

While the gameplay is basic. This demo is used to demonstrate a variety of shaders and special effects that we learned along the way such as:

• clouds
• sky color
• stars
• pixel explosion particle effects
• dissolve and burn effect

All these effects are computed and animated procedurally with no manual animation done.
